I have been wondering why I have not been getting email from my contact form and a while ago I figured out why. Users are asked to enter their email TWICE, this issue here is the email addresses MATCH but WPFORMS doesn’t see that they do actually match. I have my own plugin I can use right here and right now that DOES work. We do not need plugins that break our functionalities, especially ones that do not allow users to CONTACT-US!? I have been trying to reach support for weeks but you can’t unless you are a PRO supporter. If I was a pro supporter, I would be requesting refund and go back to using FormMail as it NEVER failed me in 15 years and I can intergrate it into WP. Since June 9th (when I establish my site) I have NEVER gotten an email from this form and now I know why. This plugin is BROKEN, NONFUNCTIONING and I believe this is done on purpose.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @drmuzic,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.

To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.

If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.

To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.

    I hope this helps ??

Users filling out this form CANNOT get past CONFIRMING thier email in the form which is why I posted the link to the form users have to fill out. EMAIL0 == EMAIL1 This has ABSOLUELY NOTHING to do with any email delivery syetem as we cannot get past the two email fields to CONFIRM the user’s email.

I am going back to formmail. Screw this! This is not worth having to sound like a broken record having to repeat the issue several times due to english being a 2nd or 3rd or 4th language. I made the issue VERY clear in my original post. This issue has kept users from contacting me for my site and I am more than POed! And now all you want to is hope you userstand what the issue is WITHOUT fully understanding EXACTLY what the issue REALLY is. I am done playing this guessing game and having to explain it again and again and again and again…

    Hey @drmuzic,

I would like to apologize for the confusion! I took a re-look at the form, and I now see the issue you’re facing wherein the confirm email field would display a “field value do not match” error message even though the values are correct. I tested this on my local setup, and on my end, the email confirmation feature seems to be working fine.

In this case, it appears that the theme or plugin might be causing some conflict here. When you have some time, can you please try testing for theme or plugin conflict and see if that fixes the issue? For a detailed guide on the above troubleshooting methods, please see our article here.

    Kindly,

Test One. ALL PLUGINS – DISALBED except WPForms = Field values do not match.
Test Two. Default Theme – Twenty TwentyTwo = Worked (no message)

The problem here, the theme “Crio – Premium” was installed and used by default by my webhosting company as well as WPForm. This is a prime examle of the left hand not knowhing what the right hand is doing and OUR sites are stuck in the middle.

Now I am going to have to reach out to the theme now for support, thank you for wasting a week of my time and here goes another week (or two).

I could have build a website WITHOUT using WP (now I wish I had built my site with my own hands and modules rather than wasting my time trouble shooting other peoples issues). Will follow up with any feedback from the Crio Support.

    Regards,
    Doc

    Hey @drmuzic,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
