Enable FVM in Woocommerce checkout page

I will consider it, but for now, FVM is disabled on the checkout page to prevent javascript conflicts.

When people enable FVM without understanding how to configure it or without realizing that there may be conflicts, I don’t want my plugin to be responsible for their checkout to stop working.

Furthermore, the checkout page is largely irrelevant for google metrics and this plugin focus on speeding up your metrics for the rest of the site, on pagespeed insights.

I may add a checkbox sometime soon to forcefully enable it on the checkout page, but not right now. Please keep checking the changelog or whats new during the next updates.

There you mentioned that “On our end it was a misconfiguration of nginx cache, so no actual Woocommerce problem.”

Can you please elaborate on the steps taken by you to solve this issue?

We started seeing the issue at the exact time we moved from an apache setup to an nginx setup.

@pranay16 if you use Nginx Cache module, make sure to exclude all Woocommerce-related cookies. If you don’t, you could see cart cookies being cached, and therefore shared across users. I can’t share our file, but these resources might help you depending on your unique setup:
