Hi we have the woocommerce shop and want to explore the WC Invoice package so we can do the following – we need to make sure it can do what we wish before purchasing!

1 – I want to be able to use invoice paper with a label incorporated so I can display the invoice address and a ship to address in the right place for the label.
2 – We want the invoice to print automatically when an order is placed so we just pick the order invoice off the printer, pick and pack.

I cannot see how I enable the invoice so it gets emailed to the client and i can print it? Am I missing something?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello!

1.- This can be done using the template designer, you can add fields and placed it yourself in any position of the pdf, you can also create your own custom fields (in case you want an special formatting or include additional information)

2.- This can be done by configuring a printer, please have in mind though that to automatically print an invoice you will need a print node account (it is free for up to 50 prints per month https://www.printnode.com/en/pricing). https://wooinvoice.rednao.com/knowledge-base/getting-started/

3.- Under template settings you can configure in which woo commerce emails the invoice is attached so you just need to configure it to be attached to one of the emails that the user receive (like the order completed email). https://wooinvoice.rednao.com/knowledge-base/emailing-pdfs/

Hope this helps but if it doesn’t please let me know!

Thanks I have now purchased and it does 90% of what I am after. There are 2 things!

1 – I have enable the printing etc but still have to selected each order to print, is there a way to automatically print and order when it arrives or changes status?

2 – I use a shipping address label invoice paper (with a built in label) the address format is not ideal for the UK, is there any way to formatthe shipping label so that each element is on a single line:

    Name
    Street Address
    Town
    City
    Postcode (ZiP)

    Thanks –

    Hello!

1.- Yes, you can configure that like this: https://wooinvoice.rednao.com/knowledge-base/automatically-print-invoices/

2.- I see, this is not configurable but if you can wait a bit, i can make the format configurable in the next release (that is coming next week). Would that work?

    Regards!

    Hello:!

Sorry for the delay, perhaps you have another version of the plugin installed? and if so, could you deactivate/delete it before activating the new version?

    Regards!

Thanks Ed – it was just that I had the free version still installed! removed it an dit now works again! I think there was a backup restored that threw it all out!

    Thanks again.

Oh, when are you getting that error? When you try to upload the plugin using the ‘upload plugin’ function of wordpress?

    Thread Starter proudmas

    (@proudmas)

No it is when I am trying to update from 1.2.19 to 1.2.20. The plugin would not load in the first place using the plugin ‘add new plug in’ so I copied the files across using ftp. But now I cannot update it?

    Plugin Author EDGARROJAS

    (@edgarrojas)

ok so you copied them through ftp but now you can activate it or something? or why you can’t update it?

    HI,

wWhen I purchased the pro version the plug in would not install using the usual installer it kept timing out, so i copied the files across using ftp and activated from there, however when I now try and upgrade it I am getting the failure i emailed above. (I have 100mb fibre link so not an internet issue!)
