• Hi. Getting the following error for my wordpress blog only, I have java enabled in my browser and am able to access the dashboard to the other WordPress blog I write on. It’s only this one that says

Error, please enable javascript and try again…

I got this message after trying to edit my sidebar page to put a Tecnorati button in the code. I have since reuploaded the theme via my ftp so that all pages should be in their original state, but still get this error. Any ideas? Any help would be most appreciated, I miss blogging!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thank you Esmi, I reset the plugins folder by FTP and that did the trick. I really appreciate your taking the time to answer my question.
