Enable “Pending” status for comments

    I recently started using Anti-Spam and it’s working extremely well for blocking comment spam! However, I would still like the ability to moderate the comments that are not spam to ensure they meet the guidelines of my website. While automatic approval of comments in some cases is useful, I think a lot of people still need to moderate their comments, myself included. Unfortunately, I can’t find this option in the plugin’s Advanced Settings”.

    Is it possible to still have comment moderation with this plugin? Thank you!

    Hi @onetrev

    No needs to change the plugin settings. It is a WordPress feature. Check the option:

    Admin -> Settings -> Discussion -> Before a comment appears -> Comment must be manually approved

    Oh whoops, my apologies, for some reason I thought this plugin overrode that functionality. It must have been another plugin I was looking at previously that did that. Thank you!

    The plugin changes some moderation logic but this WP setting is prior.
