enable sending referrers – still doesn’t work

  • I set up a blog for an author and am able to post to it on my Mac, but when I attempt to do the same on my PC laptop, I kept getting the enable sending referrers prompt. I followed WordPress instructions to enable it for Firefox (default), IE, and Zone Alarm. I still cannot post or edit any of my postings. Any other suggestions?

    The author is also unable to post from his laptop, too. I had no problems posting once the blog was installed, but can’t seem to do it from another PC.

  • So you are hosting it on your Mac? If so, can you get another computer external to your LAN to test (i.e. is it only JUST the laptop or is it all computers external to your LAN) If you’re not hosting it on your Mac within your LAN, how are you hosting it?

    Are the two URI’s under the options menu the same?

    Is your .htaccess file rewriteable?
