    Hi

Perhaps a stupid question – but I just want to make 100% sure please.

If I have the standard Google Analytics tracking code embedded in my theme header, do I still need to enable the “Standard Tracking” setting in the plugin, or will that produce mixed results/problems/duplicate traffic?

So I’m not using a third party Google analytics plugin, only the Woocommerce Analytics Plugin, with the new global site tag tracking script and conversion tag, embedded in the header section of the theme.

    Thanks!

    Hey @peyote,

If you have already manually your tracking code to your theme, you would not need to also use the “Enable Standard Tracking” option. That being said, we recommend using that option instead of manually placing the code in your header. Otherwise, if your theme changes it’s header you could have tracking issues.
