Enabling Author Link

  • What theme are you using for your site? It appears to be a custom theme, correct? If so, the best option is to contact the theme creators – if you can.

    Have you explored the Appearance > Customization options for the current theme?

    When you enter the URL for the Author link, do you do so in the Edit Post window or somewhere else?

    I’ve examined the code and it does not appear that there is any Author field generated in the blog byline area so it seems like an option that is currently disabled.

    Yes, that’s correct it is a custom theme.

    And yes, when I enter in the URL for the Author Link it is in the Edit Post window.

    I haven’t explored the other options you proposed yet. But I think that might be my next step.
