    Hi there!

I am looking to sending out visually appealing email notifications each time someone fills the form on my website (I am using Forminator plugin to achieve this). Forminator is incredible in sending out prompt notification emails to the people who just filled a form on my website but it’s not visually appealing at all. To achieve this, I guess I will need to use HTML code though I am not sure. Even though, let’s say, I have written HTML to design beautiful emails, there’s no place I could see where the HTML can be pasted – there’s only ‘visual’ and ‘text’ areas to write the text of the emails and ‘text’ area does not send out the desired emails when HTML is pasted in it. I shall look forward to getting a reply and, hopefully, achieve this soon.

    Hi @karan1a,

    Thank you for contacting us.

We currently have a feature request in place for custom templates for email notifications, so I will add your feedback to this request.

As a current workaround, you can add HTML to make your own custom notification within the editor. You will add the code in the text tab and the visual tab will show you how it renders.

    Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for your response. The text editor in the email notifications doesn’t let me add <style> tag. When I do it, it gets wrapped in <p> tag. So, when I add my custom classes that I am going to use for sending email notifications in the Appearances tab, it doesn’t work. For the form fields, it does because I can add my custom classes in the Additional CSS Classes under the Styling tab but there is no such option for email notifications. How can I make use of a custom CSS class when sending out email notifications?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @karan1a,

Could you provide us with an export of your form so we can check the structure of form and email that you use?
If the HTML is getting “messed up” in the emails can you save that as an separate HTML file and send it over as well?

You can get the export of the form by going to Forminator > Forms panel and click on the Gear icon next to your form in question.
Upload both form export and html file to any file sharing service like GDrive or Dropbox and share the download link here.

    Cheers,
    Predrag
