Enabling Gutenberg removes all site content

    I tried to give, legitimate, feedback on Gutenberg support – as advised from WordPress backend. Any comments deemed as not acceptable – so they have been deleted. Very impressive way to treat users WordPress.

    Enabled Gutenberg – all content then disappeared. Forced to de-activate it to et site back.

    From WordPress info – it looks very like the Squarespace editor.

    I will not be ‘updgading’ my site to later WP versions if this is the default.

    I’m sorry to hear that, I am. That’s never a great experience no matter how long you’ve had that content for.

    In order to better the plugin so this doesn’t happen again, are you able to share a few things with us? Like what other plugins and what the active theme is? Understanding these conflicts helps us get down to the root of the issue better so we can improve it and reduce errors.

    Was that through the feedback link in the left menu sidebar in dashboard?

    I realize that you are probably ‘over it’ by now with Gutenberg.
    But if you have a little more time to devote to it, then ;

    You might be able to refer Jose Castaneda to your (deleted) topics, so he could maybe (not sure if possible) look them up, to see what sort of feedback is being missed at earlier stages before a user leaves a review. You are probably not the only tester who is having this experience.

    I would update the star rating to reflect your experience with Gutenberg. It is important that the star rating matches the review. It gives the developers feedback that is important. It also helps other folks choose plugins.

    You can edit your reviews for plugins, including the stars given. This allows you to change your mind on a plugin as development happens. Sometimes things get better, sometimes they get worse. Your opinion isn’t forever locked in stone.

    Logged in to www.ads-software.com, go here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/gutenberg/reviews/
    and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You should see your review, with a title that says: Now Editing “your title”. This will allow you to edit your title, comments, and star rating.
