Enabling the visibility of category descriptions in woocommerce

I have a similar problem to many other Woocommerce users. I want to enable visibility of product category descriptions in my Woocommerce store. I saw a few instructions and tested it, but I think I pasted the code in the wrong place. It just didn’t work. Can I ask you for precise information on how to do it? I have access to the website and the server.
