Encoding problem in api

    Subscription is working well however fields containing an ampersand e.g. a name of ‘Jack & Jill’ appears in the mailchimp list as ‘Jack & Jill’. Not clear which end of api is at fault. I can update individual users in MailChimp to correct fault but this is lengthy and only lasts until next api update overwrites with the same problem.

    Hi Naylom,

    I just tried to replicate this issue but for me, a name containing an ampersand was passed to MailChimp and shown there without any issues.

    This could be due to your site’s encoding setting, do you have a link to your site? It could also be another plugin HTML encoding all POST data on your site, and thus affecting our plugin too. A list of your active plugins would be super helpful in debugging this.
