Hey @paaljoachim – Thanks for your message.
I’ve checked the ticket and it seems they took the correct solution.
It is possible that some plugins load specific code via Javascript, which is also protected by default. If the script tag within the HTML accepts XHTML, then everything would work just fine as this allows HTML entities to be decoded. That means, that the script within the tag should be surrounded by <![CDATA[ … ]]>

Hey @ironikus

Thanks for the feedback!
I will go ahead and close this ticket.

I will copy and paste the solution so if/when others have similar problems they can understand that turning off “no script tags” might help.

Under WordPress dashboard -> Settings -> Email Encoder.
Advanced Settings: Clicking the checkbox to ” Show advanced settings for more configuration possibilities.” (refresh the page)
Clicking the button Save all.

Protect…
Clicking the checkbox:

no script tags
“Check this option if you face issues with encoded script tags. This will deactivate protection for script tags.”

Clicking Save all button.

Retesting the form.
The E-post (Email field) now shows the default in Norwegian the [email protected] instead of the earlier encrypted placeholder.
