Is there a method for admin to notify that a course has ended and have all course participants mark the status as completed?

    Hi @egilryengen,

As for the notification, you can enable Teacher Emails: https://senseilms.com/documentation/email-notifications/#teacher-emails

One of the available Teacher Emails is a notification for “Course Completed” : email is sent to the teacher upon course completion.

As for marking students’ status as completed, that should be automatic once students complete all lessons in the course. Make sure that your Lesson template has “Lesson Actions” block added to it, so students can complete the lessons as they go through them: https://senseilms.com/documentation/lessons/#lesson-actions

Hi Jay – thanks for the answer. It gave me new input. However, my problem is not solved.
I have set up a course without lessons.
My question is, can I as an administrator set the course as completed and at the same time mark those who have participated as “completed the course”?
I am trying to adapt Sensei to manage “Dog courses” such as “Dressage courses”. Here I do not need lessons.

    Hi Egil

My question is, can I as an administrator set the course as completed and at the same time mark those who have participated as “completed the course”?

As an administrator, you can manage your Courses activity by going to Sensei LMS > Courses. Look for the name of the course and click Manage as shown in this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/tZXQXP.

Once inside, you will be able to manage your students activity for that specific course. At the bottom, enter the name or email address of the student under the “Add Student to Course” section, then click the add button.?Then, choose to complete the course for the student by checking the?Complete course for selected student(s)?box. Multiple students can be added simultaneously like shown in this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/BV57L3. Finally, click “Add to ‘[Course name]‘” and the Date Completed section will be updated to show the date the student completed the course: https://d.pr/i/qoU6wJ.

    Hope this is helpful!
