    Hi

I have an issue where the end date of the event doesnt show in the calendar. If i have an event between 15-20 april it only shows 15-19 april in the calendar.

I have seen another post about this a couple of months ago but i couldnt find out if there was a solution to it. Is there a codesnippet or some kind of workaround to get this to work?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi there, this issue can sometimes happen when the end time is set to something like 3:00am, despite the fact that you’re using an all-day event.

On the New Oslo post, can you try setting the end time to something like 5:00pm on April 20th? That should do the trick.

I will log this on my end to try to reproduce and fix on our side.

    Thanks!

I have done that now but its the same result.

I apologize as I’m having a hard time finding the problem here. So far, I’m unable to reproduce this issue on my end using WordPress 6.5.2 and Pie Calendar v1.2.0.

I created an event post, set it to start on April 15th and end on April 20th, and I set it to All Day. This is what I see on my end:

Can you try this out on a different WordPress installation? I’d like to isolate whether the issue is related to this specific website you shared or if its something more specific.

    Thanks!

Hi Jonathan thanks for looking at my issue.

I just made a completely new wordpress installation, but i get the same issue.

I just installed breakdance and acf, added a new post type and set the post type to “post is event” and checked the “custom fields”.

Then i added a new post to the post type and set the startdate to 2024-04-17 and end date to
    2024-04-19.

And the result is the same it shows between 17th and 18th in the calendar but when clicking on the event it shows the correct dates in the little box.

Ok, this is helpful info for me to try to troubleshoot. To make sure I am testing the right things, are you using ACF fields for your event Start Date & Time?

Ahh, this is even more strange. I clicked your link and the event is showing between 2024-04-17 and 2024-04-19 in the calendar as it’s supposed to on my side. Did you make any changes since your previous post?

Here is what I see on my end:

    Also, you mentioned:
    >>added a new post type and set the post type to “post is event”

This isn’t a required step, so perhaps uncheck that option on the post type itself. You only have to set “Post is Event” on the individual posts like “Resa 1” or “Resa 2” in your example above.

    Hi again

I am not using the acf fields for start and end on this new install. I tried it before on the first install and it almost worked but the last day wasnt showing in the calendar.

I have tried to change the settings for dates in wordpress and site language, tried from different locations with https://www.locabrowser.com/, unchecked the option “post is Event” on the post type, tried different browsers and in incognito modes, different networks. No progress. Very strange that you see a different correct version of the page.

Can i give you login details in some way? If you want to have a look

I’m happy to report this issue with All Day Events has been discovered and will be patched in a future release of Pie Calendar. A temporary patch was provided to OP and they reported it works in their environment and in our internal testing.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for your patience, @moggesv!
