    Hello,
I have a problem with the end date in the registration confirmation. For example, the event date is 11. to 13.4.25 (dd.tt.yy), but in the e-mail confirmation and on the event page it says 11. to 14.4.25. What could be the reason for this?
Thank you very much for your help
    Helga

    Hey helpar!

Sorry for the issue here. This is a combination of registrations features and The Events Calendar’s features. I’ll do my best to point you toward a solution.

There may be some odd issue with time zones and possible daylight savings time. It looks like you are using a UTC+ time zone. If you change this to a proper time zone (such as your local time zone or “Chicago”), does the problem go away?

    Hey Craig,

thank you very much for your reply. The time zone in WordPress is set to ‘Berlin’. That should be correct, right?

    Best regards

    Hey again Helpar,

Sorry for the delay! I was referring to this part of your screenshot:

The “Zeitzone” is set to UTC+0. Have you tried changing this?

    Hey Craig,

I have tried UTC+1 and BERLIN. Both return an incorrect end date. The start date is correct (both).
    Thank you for your support.

Is there no solution to the problem? I am constantly receiving messages from course participants that the date is incorrect and would therefore be very grateful for a quick solution.

    Hey Helga,

This part of the plugin is more related to The Events Calendar. They can offer support there:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/the-events-calendar/

I can keep trying to suggest ideas though!

I have seen instances where there is a special timzeone set on the server that the site is hosted on that isn’t UTC (Greenwich Mean Time). This can also lead to some odd issues as most PHP code is based on the server having a GMT time. If you try a bunch of different UTC + X options, does the reported end date change? This would indicate some kind of odd issue with the time zones as I’m speculating about.

Otherwise you may need to reach out to The Events Calendar’s team to see if they have any further ideas.

Sorry that I’m not sure of a fix for this one!

    Hi Craig,

thank you very much for your reply and your support. I have posted a support request in the Events Calender forum. Now all that remains is to hope that there is a solution.

    Best regards
    Helga
