    I’ve changed my Facebook password recently. This effected that the plugin was not working anymore with multible WordPress-Sites. Now, after I tried deactivating, reactivate, uninstall, reinstall and multiple authorisation processes I only get back to the “connect to my Facebook pages” button with no listed pages underneath.

    So I can endlessly authorize the plugin, with no effect. I deleted the authorization in Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools) and did the process again, I cleared the browser cache, the feed cache (if there was one) but with no effect.

    Wordpress did send me a Info-Mail about the Error:

    WordPress-Version: 5.3.2
    Plugin: Easy Social Feed (Version 5.2.4)
    PHP-Version: 7.3.11

    Error-Details
    ==============
    an Error-Typ E_RECOVERABLE_ERROR in line 613 of the file /wp-content/plugins/easy-facebook-likebox/easy-facebook-likebox/admin/easy-facebook-likebox-admin.php. Error-Message: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string

    Hi @bkapelari,

    I am sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, Facebook requires authenticating the app again if you change your password. Did you try deleting the pages from the trash icon on the settings page? It even deletes the saved settings with the app.

    Please note you might need to delete authorization for 2 apps that are used by the plugin. After deleting the access token please authenticate again and select pages /pages while authorization process and let me know if it works.

    If you are still having the issue please contact me from your dashboard > Easy Social Feed > Contact Us > Techincal Support. I will be more than happy to assist you.

    Thanks!

    @danish-ali As you’ve asked for admin before and got into trouble here for that, don’t ask people for that. Support your users on these forums.

    I think I did delete the pages with the trash icon but I’m not sure. Ho can I delete all the settings and caches of the plugin over ftp and MySQL?
    What if I have two websites with this plugin running? I will have to select both pages in the authentication and filter in the WordPress interface, right?

    What I did serval times:

    Step 1
    Delete both integrations in the Facebook settings:
    Easy Social Post Feed PP
    Easy Social Post Feed I

    Step 1:
    in WP click “Connect My Facebook Pages”

    Step 2:
    got redirected to Facebook there I select Instagram and Facebook-Pages I want to use

    Step 3:
    back in WP now on the screen is still the “Connect My Facebook Pages”-Button and on the bottom center “Please wait! Authenticating…”. no pages or other information coming from Facebook

    Nothing happens… I can click the Button again and again and again.

    I did try this in serval browsers with and without Ad-Blocker.

    I got the following message Once: “Sorry, Plugin is unable to get the pages data. Please delete the acces token and select pages in the second step of authentication to give the permission”.
    But I cant delete the token because there is no page listed

    I still can’t fix this.
    If I install the plugin on a WordPress (v5.3) installation where this plugin was never used, everything works fine.

    But if I uninstall the plugin via WordPress, delete the fta_settings (as mentioned here) and reinstall the plugin => Still the same issue.

    Are there other informations stored in the database?

    Hi @bkapelari,

    Yes, all the settings are saved fta_settings but transients are saved in the wp_options table. May I know what is your Freemius ID / Site URL? You must have that while activating the plugin.

    Thanks!

    Hi @danish-ali,
    I still have the same problem. I don’t understand why you need the Site Url? We don’t have the Pro subscription. The fta_settings are located in the wp_options table right? How can I find the transients? Is there a SQL-Query?

    Thank you for your help!

    may this the problem?

    Hi @bkapelari,

    You asked why I need site URL actually on the current stage I am totally clueless what is causing the issue like what theme or plugin you are using and what can be conflicting. I tested in my working environment and it’s working fine but here I don’t know what is happening on your site.

    Yes, all the settings save under fta_settings key in wp_options table and transients are also saved in the same table with _transient_efbl_posts_{page_id}_{post_limit}

    In the query log, there are some undefined index notices which are showing because of now values in the database but I am not sure why it’s throwing fatal error, May I know what version of the plugin you are using? If you are not using the updated version please use that.

    I will recommend, please remove the following options from DB

    1. fta_settings
    2. _transient_efbl_posts_{page_id}_{post_limit}
    3. mif_skin_{skin_id}
    4. efbl_skin_{skin_id}
    5. posts from wp_posts table which has efbl_skins and mif_skins post types
    6. Demo pages

    and then delete the plugin entirely and install it again. Then check the query log and let me know.

    I have done a lot of things now, but it still isn’t working. Maybe we have to give up!
    It is working fine on all WordPress installations where the plugin was never installed before. The problem occurs only on pages where the plugin was first installed a year ago.
    on the installation with the problem, after installation, there were a lot of option table fields: LINK

    (@danish-ali)

    The other fields are not related to my plugin, I have mentioned above all the data saving in DB
