    I am always getting back to the same page. It just keeps looping regardless what I do.

    Pages;

    1. The Site Kit plugin is active but requires setup
    2. Welcome to Site Kit! Let’s get you set up.
    3. Choose an account
    4. Site Kit wants to access your Google Account
    5. … back on page 1

    I have disabled all plugins to make sure there is no conflict (Breeze etc…). I have opened incognito and tried again.

    Thanks for the updates everyone! It is a known issue that ModSecurity rules can block the setup process. Temporarily disabling ModSecurity is an option. After the setup process, you can re-enable your settings. You can also confer with your host on the best practice on their platform.

    @stijnl Have you been able to setup Site Kit after temporarily disabling ModSecurity during setup?

    @thehowarde Thanks for the input, very useful indeed. Users on shared hosting can also try the following, added to their .htaccess file, although some web hosts may restrict this. It may work for some, and it can be removed after Site Kit setup:

    <IfModule mod_security.c>
      SecFilterEngine Off
      SecFilterScanPOST Off
    </IfModule>

    There is an open GitHub issue you can keep track of for ModSecurity incompatibilities during Site Kit setup.
