• All of a sudden, I’m getting emails every six minutes with the subject line “[our URL] Font page check!” The body says:

WP Super Cache has checked the front page of your blog. Please visit [link to WP Super Cache settings page] if you would like to disable this.

This raises oh so many questions:

    • Why did we start getting these all of a sudden? We’ve had the plugin installed for months. And I have the plugin installed on several sites, but no emails from those other sites yet.
    • What did it check? What did it find?
    • The supplied link just takes me to the Easy tab of the settings page. I can’t find a setting there, or in any other tab, that controls this check. I’m probably missing it; where do I find that setting?

    Thanks!

  • Go to the Debug tab and uncheck “Check front page every 5 minutes” and save. That will stop the emails. I don’t know how it would have been checked without you knowing. Does someone else have admin access to the site?

Thanks! I don’t know why I didn’t see that. I’ll ask the other admin if she happened to check it.

But the description on that page says “You will be emailed if there is a problem.” Since I was getting the emails, does that mean I have a problem? The email didn’t indicate what it might be.
