Enforce From Name

    This plugin is not enforcing the “From Name” set in the plugin settings. It works when I do a test email from the plugin, but other emails sent by other plugins sometimes don’t have a “From Name” or use a different “From Name”. Isn’t this plugin supposed to override both the “From Email” and “From Name” when sending all mail?

    I am using the latest version of the plugin.

    “From name” works a bit different.

    We are redefining the value only when other plugins have not touched it and its default is WordPress.

    We are redefining it using the option from WP Mail SMTP settings only when the FROM NAME is the default one WordPress. If some other plugin (like all forms plugins) redefines this values to whatever that is not equal to WordPress – we are not redefining it to preserve that custom name.

    Thanks for clarifying. Can you consider adding the option to override plugins? The old plugin I was using (Postman SMTP) gives this option and it is very useful.
