I am running Version 2.5.14 of the plugin. For each Listing, we set values for Engine (l) and Engine Cylinders. Both of these fields are used to populate the Engine icon text shown on the listing page. When the engine values selected are for a V style engine, the Engine icon text shown on the listings page still always says “Inline” (which is impossible for a V engine). For example, setting Engine (l) to 3.8 and Engine Cylinders to V6 results in the listing page showing the text “V6 cylinder Inline 3.8L”…which is physically impossible. How can we remove the “inline” text from appearing when it does not apply to the vehicle listing?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

The engine information in the “At a glance” section supports showing in this format “Engine Cylinder – Engine Type – Engine (l)”. You can remove the text Inline on these fields to avoid appearing on the front end.

Or follow this documentation to know how to override the template of Auto Listings plugin https://wpautolistings.com/docs/templates/

Thank you Long! Based on your response I noticed that in the Listings Settings > Fields area the field “Engine Type (Recommended) Data from this field is used for the “Engine” icon text” was not checked to display in the Listings Editor. Therefore, we were getting the default value of Inline on all listings. I have now added this field to the editor and we are able to use all three fields (Engine Cylinders, Engine Type, and Engine (l)) to produce the correct engine specifications on the website. Your help is greatly appreciated.
