    Hi,
    thanks for the useful plug-in.
    My website has 2 version:
    Italian
    English

    English version is generic for all English speaking visitors
    I’d like to generate this:
    <link rel=”alternate” href=”https://www.domain.com/&#8221; hreflang=”en” />

    Among your English tag list I find

    English (Australia)
    English canada
    English (EN)
    English ireland
    English new zeland
    English philippines
    English south africa
    English uk
    English united states

    … I have choosen
    English (EN)

    now, if I go to source page I notice:

    <html lang=”en-GB” prefix=”og: https://ogp.me/ns#&#8221; class=”no-js no-svg”>

    why it is GB?

    How can I put a generic english:
    <link rel=”alternate” href=”https://www.domain.com/&#8221; hreflang=”en” />

    thanks

    Hi
    I found in a thread …:

    <html lang=”en-US”> essentially means “this page is in the US style of English.” In a similar way, <html lang=”en-GB”> would mean “this page is in the United Kingdom style of English.”

    so… this is not a problem, I imagine

    Hi

    <html lang=”en-GB” prefix=”og: https://ogp.me/ns#” class=”no-js no-svg”>

    This code was not added by our plugin and it’s not an hreflang tag.

    Please let me know if I can be of further help.

    Best Regards
