English language not working after upgrade to wordpress 4.8.2

  • Site with 3 languages. IT (which is default, in -X and also in WPadmin), ESP, ENG.
    Before upgrading everything was ok. After upgrade to 4.8.2 (automathic) english language does not work anymore, and also if i go to english pages it is not possible to turn back to other languages.

    It seems like english is taking control of urls and redirects wrongly, also for other languages. If i disable english language (in -X settings) everything works. Any ideas? Thank you.

    Hi all, qTranslate-X is not maintained anymore. Last update 1 year ago. If nobody will fork it, the problems will remain. Unfortunately.

    @minewafuu I removed the plugin and passed to another one, which was not the best choice for me, because q-translate has the best approach to multilingual sites according to my opinion. But i had no time to look for a workaround, so i had to go.

    But i got an idea, don’t know if it would work. To create a new language, a “fake” new english, it would be necessary to copy the .po files and other stuff in the plugin files. If everything works this new english will have its prefix, its flag (the same renamend) and should have no conflicts with proper english of wp-admin. Maybe.
