Go in your wp_terms table then replace pll_uk by pll_en

Then resave your Polylang settings (Settings > languages > Settings).

Nope, this helped not a lot – same as before. But i think I have an idea, I just recognised the webmaster which was in charge of this project before, has installed: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-language/

and it looks like there is a conflict now within the backend which also shows up in the frontend

Could you confirm that you have replaced pll_uk by pll_en in the DB and after that, you have resaved your Polylang settings?

Could you provide a screen shot of your wp_term table and one of your wp_term_taxonomy table where appear the english language informations?

Sorry, I did an update to the language settings again and it’s working now. I guess I haven’t updated it at all ??
