• Hey all,

I haven’t found a similar topic to my problem, so here goes. When I debug using GTM preview mode, I see enhanced ecommerce events being fired twice, when one occurrence of the event has happened. For example when I do one add to cart, “gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC” is pushed to the datalayer twice. I think this is causing some big tracking issues. Anyone here have an idea what could cause this issue? It’s primarily about the following events: “gtm4wp.changeDetailViewEEC”, “gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC” and “gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC”.

I’m not sure how the normal support procedure goes but if there is any supporting material needed I’d be happy to provide.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’m having the same issue, with gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC firing twice. Have you been able to find a solution?

Hey, sorry no we haven’t found a solution yet. Now we are just doing a work around in GTM where the events are just fired once per page. This means we are missing a small number of A2Cs that are done more than once on the same page (e.g. ajax cart a2cs).
