Hi, just thought I’d let you know it works for me in 3.5.1 with a custom theme – could it be an issue with your theme?

Hi, into the admin area Enhanced Text Widget give nothing. You can find it only under Appearance/Wingets. There is a row, what you can give in the boxes on the right side.

That’s right, it’s only visible under Appearance > Widgets, then you can drag it to your widget area on the right-hand side, presuming your theme supports widgets?

Once I drag the Enhanced Text Area widget into the widget area, and click to expand it, I get all of the fields I should have such as title, content, class etc etc. Saving works fine, and it displays correctly in my theme.

For me under WP 3.5.1 works fine, too.

Can’t find any issues either. Best way to debug is disable all other plugins, activate the default Twenty Twelve theme and test it again.

I am having an issue getting the button I generated to display. I tried it in the Twenty Twelve theme, but couldn’t get it to show up either. Does anyone know another work around? This is the only widget that I found that will let you embed CSS into your sidebar. I wish I could get it to work. HTML button generators are lame and I haven’t found any that have good samples.

Same issue here. Nothing in the widget admin section.
    Default theme used.

@airbornedivision, you’ll only see a widget if your theme has a widget area registered. If it’s a theme with no sidebars, you won’t see any widgets in the WordPress backend.

Works fine for me – even on multi-site 3.5.1. Plug-in was activated for a specific site rather than network activated but that shouldn’t matter.
