    try option under Events > Settings > Formatting > Date/Time > Time Format & Use 24h Format =No

    with regards to changing the available time I’m afraid that this is not available by default and might need additional coding on your part.

    Thank you for your suggestion.
    I have been reading the documentation again and I find that there are options that might help me. #_12HSTARTTIME and #_12HENDTIME.
    The current dropdown is not that much of a problem.
