Enhancement Request | Speed Testing | Please Specify Lighthouse Version

    Kindly update SGO’s Speed Test module to provide the Lighthouse version number and test parameters used when performing a speed test.

    Due to the frequency and type of changes (i.e., major, minor) made to Lighthouse (i.e., PageSpeed), this information is valuable.

    For example, Lighthouse V10.0.2 implements several major changes when compared to V9.6.8. These changes will impact score results in several areas.

    Last, can you kindly share the Lighthouse version currently used by SGO’s Speed Test module?

    Hello @generosus,

    The SGO Speed Test feature is performing the test with the Lighthouse version used by the Google api, which the plugin utilising.

    As such it is not static and it is being called dynamically by the api itself. Currently the api is using 10.0.2.

    Your enhancement requests were also passed to our developers for further review.

    Hi @gpetrova,

    Can you provide an update on this? Specifying the Lighthouse version used by your plugin would be very helpful. All other plugins or sites we know that connect to Lighthouse provide this information. It’s VERY helpful.

    I have checked the internal task that was opened in regards to this case. There is still no update by our developers. Once more information is available, we will update this thread. However, we cannot provide an ETA.
