Enigma child theme show critical error

  • Hi, My website was hacked and after removing the viruses and updating my plugins and theme, my website broke.

    when I activate the Enigma theme, all the sliders have vanished.

    My host company sent me this error message:

    How can I correct this?

    I have tried to download weblizar companion plugin and import data but for my child theme it does not work.

    When I activate my child theme, it says: critical error on a white page. I have deactivate it and put it on the parent theme which is Enigma. Still not working. All sliders have disappear and nothing is like on the home page of Enigma. I have tried to customize but still not working.

    I′ve update the Enigma theme to 7.1.6 and the Enigma child theme version is 1.0.0
    My child theme configurator plugin cannot be updated right now as it says it has not been tested yet with my wordpress version.

    If you can take a previous working copy of the Main Theme and child theme.

    as a zip file thru any GPL ZIP file sharing tool. So I can better assist you.

    I don′t have any previous working copy as the hosting company has backup for only the last 7 days.
    The only copy I had was a backup of my website on Updraftplus. I did try to restore it but it says failed as it is since 2018.
    What else can I do?
    Even when I make changes in the customiser nothing happens.
    What I saved on my computer are the css codes and the php codes. Those I have added or modified. I can′t remember. Will you need these. I am so desperate as I have taken 2 years to finish my website.

    without backup – You have to re create the the site with latest version.

    I just can send you a working child theme for latest version of the parent theme.

    Hi.
    I have uploaded the Child Theme and activated it but I still have the same problem. I went in customiser and when I try to upload a slider it does not appear on my preview. I had same issue when I activated the last version of the parent Enigma theme.
    Do you think that there is a missing file somewhere after the malware has been cleared?

    Hi, on the front page/home only the logo, social media, menu and the footer are working. The sliders is not working even when I add it in the customiser. The other options also on the front page are not working (blog, services, slider etc).
    Please let me know what can I do.

    @lovelish – Make sure you have selected HOME Template to your Home and set it as a custom static page.

    Hi, Thanks for mentioning it. Forgot to select Home Template. Now it′s working.
    There is another issue now. My website is in French and English but I cannot found string translation for my homepage. Polylang is installed on my website.
    How can I translate my homepage. Thanks for your help.
