• Hi, First time using Woocommerce and not all that familiar with WordPress. I want to simply sell tickets on the school website. Watched videos, added two products (both still draft form) and when I preview, I get “Enroll this course” button instead of “Add to cart” – I can’t figure what box I did or did not check along the way. Searching just brings up how to sell courses, not correct the button. Any help?

We don’t host the site and our last wordpress update killed our theme so we had to rollback.
Site is smsvb.net but like I said, those products aren’t live. Haven’t set pages yet, still trying to get the products like I want. Not sold on woocommerce yet.

That text is likely coming from a 3rd party plugin – not WooCommerce itself (unless you manually changed that through custom coding or by adding your own localisation files).

Are you still experiencing the same issue after deactivating all of your plugins (except WooCommerce) and switching to the default Twenty Sixteen theme?

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I haven’t deactivated all the plugins and switched to the default theme. Partly, I’d have to do that in the middle of the night as we need the plugins active during the day or parts of the site won’t function correctly. I’m also hesitant to change the theme, even temporarily, since we had a problem with it earlier in the year.

I can do all those things at a more convenient time, if you think necessary. List of active plugins: Advanced WP Columns, Breadcrumb NavXT, Contact Form 7, Custom Facebook Feed, Duplicate Post, Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades, Google Analytics by BestWebSoft, iThemes Security, Maintenance Mode, PayPal for WooCommerce, Popup Maker, Seamless Donations, Slider Revolution, STM Post Type, Timed Content, UpdraftPlus- Backup/Restore, WooCommerce, WP BackItUp, WPBakery Visual Composer. NOTE: WooCommerce PayPal powered by Braintree Gateway was also installed when I installed WooCommerce – that plugin isn’t active, it just showed up at the same time.

Not really sure how any of those plugins would be causing this problem. Here’s a link to a screenshot of the product. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_v2fj-N-A3fa2pVbHdGN3lPQjg/view?usp=sharing

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
Thanks for the info. It seems that the MasterStudy wordpress theme that we are using is overriding the default Woocommerce theme. I can’t change the theme of the site but can you please point me to where I can get the theme to stop overriding the defaults? All the searches I do seem to tell me how to change the woocommerce default theme. Thanks for any assistance.
