Enrollment close timing isn't working

I have a course that’s closing on October 5th. I had assumed it would stay open until the end of day on the 5th, but instead someone has emailed to let me know it’s closed already. At 5:00 p.m. on the 4th. It’s possible it was closed all day, but didn’t let me know. I have no idea how many sales were lost today because of this.

Can you explain what has happened here? And if there is some unusual terms that we need to know related to the end time, it would be helpful to have an Info Button on that data entry point.
