Is the list of countries to be used as a Profile Field type in BuddyPress?

If so, you can use BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types.

For the list of cities, I’m not aware of a plugin providing that feature, probably the number of cities is simply too big. Alternatively, you could use a Google Maps autocomplete field type, that allows you to choose Country, City, and possibly Address from a drop-down list. In this case you can use BP xProfile Location or BP Distance Search.
