If the erroneous URLs are all wrong in the same way, thus requiring the same correction in each case, you can use the Better Search and Replace plugin to seek out erroneous paths and replace them with the correct path.

    That is one big task

It happens to new uploads too

If new upload paths are wrong as well, then the main home and siteurl option values in the DB are incorrect. These are inaccessible from the normal network dashboard, but the Better Search and Replace plugin can correct these values as well.

Or correct the values directly via the phpMyAdmin app. There’s also a semi-hidden dashboard page where you can alter these values. In your browser address bar, type in an URL similar to your-domain.com/wp-admin/options.php to see all option values on one page. Search for “home” and “siteurl” options and correct the values. There’s a Save Changes button way at the bottom of this very long page.

With the correct option values, the image URLs may have corrected themselves and you may not need to do any further changes.

Also have a look in wp_74_options for upload_path and upload_url_path.
You can find these if you go to Sites->Edit then Settings.

Note that since WP6.2, sites/xx is automatically added on to the end of both values, so make sure these aren’t included in either option.
