Entire page shifts to the left? (Twelve Eleven child theme)

    Hi everybody! I am new to wordpress and already running into problems.

    I created a child theme for the Twenty Eleven Theme. Now what happens is that when I click on a different page than the home page on the menu bar, the whole site seems to slightly shift to the left. How can I fix this?

    I made some minor modifications to the theme and can post my style.css code if that would help.
