Entire site except subdomain and folder

Hi ladies and gents,

I’m trying to redirect all pages on https://www.oldsite.com to https://www.newsite.com. Except for subdomain.oldsite.com and https://www.oldsite.com/folder/.

I’ve added redirects from all the old pages to the new pages and those are working fine. Furthermore, I’ve added https://www.oldsite.com/folder/ as a “do nothing”.

Q1: How can I redirect the homepage of https://www.oldsite.com to https://www.newsite.com? I’ve tried regex /(.*) but this doesn’t work.

Q2: How can I exclude subdomain.oldsite.com
