Entire site returns 403 Forbidden Error

  • I had a malware issue, and so I started to reinstall wordpress. I uploaded the files to the public_html folder, and changed the wp-config file, but I’m getting a 403 forbidden error with all directories. I’m also not able to run the initial install script. I looked up the default .htaccess for a wordpress site and confirmed that mine matches with that.
