Entries Per Page (Main vs. Archived)

    Hi there,

    I’ve done a fairly thorough search of the forums and not been able to find a solution to this problem.

    I want my main page to have one post per page, as I prefer the longer post and like to only show one at a time.

    However when users go to my archive pages, I want them to be able to see excerpts of ALL the posts contained in that category/month.

    The problem is WP only gives me the option to change the amount of posts per page overall (which I have already set to 1), and doesn’t let me do it specifically on a page-per-page basis.

    Can anyone help?
