• Hey ??
I installed WordPress a few days ago and just now recognized that my posts don’t show. I can see the titles of the “Hello world!” and my “test” entry but not the message. The archives also show links to the messages but when I click them nothing’s changed – still only the titles.
I do know that it has nothing to do with the template, I deactivated it and still can’t see the posts. Furthermore I tried several different versions of the “<?php the_content() ?>” parameter as well as placing it in different sections of the layout. I’m really lost now …
Any tips what I could try? Thank you in advance!

  • For starters, perhaps a link to your website would help a bit.
What were you trying to do before things went wrong. Was WordPress ever working correctly for you? If you “deactivated” the template, you won’t be able to see anything, it seems.
Could you just try getting the default template uploaded again and seeing if it was a coding error on your part?

It was indeed! *duh* I’ll be more careful this time with replacing the parameters with my own. Thank you! ??

Good luck in tweaking soph. ??
