Just sent you the screenshot of the permalink options.

switch_to_blog() does not give you the url of the blog where you going to switch to? Or does it? How does the resulting url get constructed then?

There is a blog collection class in the plugin. After the switch, you can call get_permalink for example. But yes, this is just a part of the story…

Please send also the screenshot of the other blog/site.

    Sent.

I notice that there is a different setting there. But I haven’t set that.
I just created the multi sites from the primary one and didn’t look at their permalink settings.

I also notice that the /blog part is not there in the standard options?

Can you deduce what is going wrong here?

Addition: I changed the permalink structure on the test site I was talking about to “Custom structure” value /blogen/%postname%/.
Then the URL gets changed to the home url of the multi site with only /en and the the postname. If I change it to /blogentest/%postname%/ then the url get /entest added to it.
    Weird?

It seems that the functionality that should take care of the “/blog/” part of a primary site is buggy under conditions like yours. There will be soon a new version of the plugin available.

I’m already working on it so I think few days. ??

i have the same problem with my multisite and your plugin.
i have setup a wordpress multisite with subfolders and activated your plugin. arabic is the main site.
    arabic article:
    https://www.aibible.org/blog/%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%AA%D9%81%D8%A7%D9%84-%D8%B9%D9%8A%D8%AF-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D9%85-2012/
    english article:
    https://www.aibible.org/en/mothers-day-celebration-2012/

    the bug:
in the english article, the link to the arabic language is broken (????)
it does not include “/blog/” in the url.

this is the setting in permalinks (arabic):
    https://www.aibible.org/blog/sample-post/
    and in english:
    https://www.aibible.org/en/sample-post/

i have the latest version 1.0.8

    thanks.

    Dear Author,

I have also contacted you about this issues many moons ago and are still very much interested in a solution. I have the exact same problem as described above. The only way for me to currently make this plugin work is to add redirect-rules for every single post in my blog.

    Tedious and time consuming method.

I hope to see a solutions soon.

@harm10 I’m sure that you’ll understand why I don’t wanted to comment what you wrote. ??

I’m testing a solution whitout any active rewriting in this part of the plugin but settings in the options-panel. There were a lot of changes in the WordPress core regarding this things too. In the meantime a work-a-round is always a filter as I described above.

The next WordPress version will probably be published in a week and therefore I will wait at least for this for the new version of MSLS.

    (@harm10)

Sorry it took me so long to test the latest version from GitHub.
I am glad to say that my problem is solved!

Will you publish this version as an official version?

    Plugin Author Dennis Ploetner

    (@realloc)

Yes this will be part of the next version.

Sorry but I cannot access the indicated page.

Sorry, too many hackers on that ip-range… You should be fine now, if you try again.
    Thanks!

Please open a new thread and describe what you have, the problem and what you expect. The problem with the “blog” part in the posts Urls was already solved.
