EO plugin is in correct directory, but does not show on WP dashboard

    The Event-Organizer plugin does not show up on the WordPress dashboard any more.

    The plugin appears to be installed in the right place (public_html/plugins/event-organiser).

    There is a folder called “js” that is in the directory and all the php files are inside that.

    Something updated on June 16, and I think it broke the plugin. Now it doesn’t show up and leaves shortcode displays where calendars and events used to be.

    Any ideas?

    I don’t want to delete the existing plugin and try reinstalling because there are quite a few events already booked.

    Hi,

    If you delete the plug-in via FTP and re-install it, you shouldn’t loose any data (I’d always recommend doing a snapshot of the database before doing any updates/installs though).

    It sounds like a corrupted download, since there should be *no* php files inside the js folder. You can manually download the plug-in and compare that to what you’re seeing on your server.
