I run a podcast called Plug and Play Podcast, and am switching it over to seriously simple podcasting. I already have a post for EACH episode (85 episodes) and so I installed the plug in and went to each and every post and relinked the audio file with the post and made sure to add that specific post to the correct podcast series, only 1 of them is being fed after hours of work. To clarify I didn’t go to the podcasts and click add new, I just went to the already created posts and added the files there. When I go to the seriously simple podcast tab and click all episodes nothing is there.

    Please help!

I should also add, that I have taken the rss feed from seriously simple with the series attached, added it to feedburner and the rss feedburner supplied IS the one i’m sending out to itunes and such. BUT I don’t believe thats the issue. For some reason none of my episodes besides the newest one play on my site, i believe thats where the issue lies.

I’m still needing help on this issue please.

If your episodes aren’t being fed properly then the issue is one of two things:

    1. You have some caching on your server (either as a plugin or added by your host) that is preventing the latest episodes from being added to the feed.
    2. You have not added the audio files to the episodes correctly – any podcast episode that has an audio file in the episode settings will be added to the feed. No exception.

This guide may help if you’re stuck on that: https://www.seriouslysimplepodcasting.com/documentation/publishing-your-first-episode/

So, the issue seems to be that the newely added posts that i attach audio to are working, but posts that existed before that i add a audio file to don’t upload.

Are you on the latest version of the plugin (v1.14.6)? Please update your plugin and your WordPress to the latest and let me know if you still have an issue.

    Thanks,

Yes i’ve updated everything and it still only seems to pull old posts whenever I create a new post and publish it. here is a link to my feed https://feeds.feedburner.com/PlugAndPlayPodcast and as you’ll see (currently) that it only shows episodes 80 – 89 but there are 50 some others that aren’t showing.

Ok so I have a question, and maybe the item above will fix my issue, but under “publishing” IF i’m taking the RSS you’re plugin is giving me then feeding it to feedburner and then using feedburners RSS to put it on itunes and stithcer and stuff DO i need to put the feedburner RSS in the slot that says “
External feed URL” IF so will that make it so itunes pulls all my episodes?
