equipment rental

  • I’m using woocomerce and woocommerce’s booking extension for a camera and lighting rental site but I’m not satisfied with it. I would like to know if this plugin is fit for such a system. The thing is that in the woo commerce bookings extension is very hard to set a quantity for an item such as camera that you might have 2 or 3 (or more) of the same model, letting the customer book more than one at the same time and controlling the availability for it.

    Hi, thanks for your answer but it was not really helpful. If you could give some directions it would be nice. For example, how do I set the quantity for a product, I’m using it with “has persons” but I’m not sure that is the right way. regards

    You can set the value for quantity in the Available no. field when you set availability in the calendar. In the frontend it’s the No book items field.
    Or you can list quantities in the Extras form.

    Hi, thanks for your answer and I apologize if I was a bit rude in my first post. I do think that woocommerce bookings is an awsome product and I intend to sell it to a lot of my clients. But I still need some more help. The available no field you say would be the “Max bookings per block”? and in the front end I would have to override the single product template to have it display? I’m not sure what is this Extras form you mentioned. If there’s any documentation I can follow so I don’t keep bothering you guys, I would be glad to leave you alone, regards:
