    Hi,

Just to confirm, the issue is that with the latest version of Yoast SEO for WordPress v14.6.1, you’re unable to modify the SEO title and meta description in the Yoast SEO meta box when editing a post or page that’s previously been published before the latest release?

Are you able to locate the Yoast SEO meta box and change the field for the SEO title and meta description and save the changes/update? Or is it that the Yoast SEO meta box doesn’t appear to be editable? Could you please provide us with a screenshot and more details?

We use the seo meta box a lot and everything works normally after the latest plug-in update. Until we discovered that changes were not updated on Live site when Updating the wp page.

    Answering question:
Are you able to locate the Yoast SEO meta box and change the field for the SEO title and meta description and save the changes/update? -> YES

Or is it that the Yoast SEO meta box doesn’t appear to be editable? – > Yes to editable No to visible on Live page.

Could you please provide us with a screenshot and more details?

We do see that you’ve added the ‘2’ in the SEO title but it’s not reflecting on the live page. We apologize for this. Upon checking, it looks like you are using Yoast SEO Premium v14.6.1.

Could you please contact us directly in order to get premium support — https://yoast.com/help/support/#premium

We’ll be able to help you directly from there. Thank you!

I am having the same issue with the free version of the plugin:

    1. I can locate and edit the Yoast meta box.
    2. My changes to the title tag can save within the Yoast meta box. If I update the page and reopen the editing view for that page, my title tag changes are still there within the Yoast meta box.
    3. However, my changes do not get published to the live site. The old title tag persists.

    Hi @kdrisley ,
