• I tried to download the recent version automatically. After that when I try to add a new post the page stays empty. It only shows Add New Post. I can’t have a look at my previous posts as that page also only gives my the title of the page. When I click a sticky post it gives my a message Error 500 – Internal server error

    I use Thesis Theme for my web site and !&! as a host.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    It sounds like maybe the installation didn’t finish, or some part of it broke along the way. I’d download and install the latest version of wordpress via FTP. The instructions for upgrading from an old wordpress version are probably relevant:
