Hello, love your plugin. Today we saw an issue with uploading images in to the media library. Mainly most of the images gave the error: Problem with uploading. Try again later (translation from dutch; could be something else in english).
But the strange thing: most of the images are succesfully uploaded; whatever that error indicates.

The error is not with every image. For example: if we upload 8 images, we get 2 errors.

After investigating i noticed that the uploading works without error after deactivating the Sucuri plugin.
There’s also a speed issue. With Sucuri activated the uploading or removing of images is slower then normal.

Is there something we can do about this?

  • Hello, I believe this is related to the issues that people have been reporting since 24 December 2014 related to connectivity issues produced by an attack against Linode’s servers [1]. However, as I understand the attacks were mitigated yesterday so maybe the issue that you are experiencing is unrelated to this.

Please disable the plugin for now, we have made many changes in the code since the last update that will hopefully improve the speed, we are still testing some of the changes. Alternatively, you can install the development version of the plugin [2], once the new changes are considered stable you will get a notification to replace the development version (if you agree to install it).
