• Hello there!

I’m having some problems building my site.

So a lot of times when I have made changes to my site and press “update”, my browser loads for a while and then giving me an error: “ERR_CONNECTION_RESET”.

I have googled a loooot, and tried almost everything. One thing that actually worked, (sort of) is renaming the .htaccess file. When I did this I could update my site without getting the error.

However, doing this also breaks the login, and I cannot access my site if I’m not already logged in.

Any idea what I should do next?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I forgot to mention that the idea of changing the name of the .htaccess file was taken from this wordpress post.

You can fix this with easy steps.
Open Command using windows + R
    Now type cmd
Now just type “netsh winsock reset catalog”
After then just restart your computer.

You can also try clear browsing data and also Clear Registry too.

for me this problem happened on my localhost after some find-replacing in the database. it turned out to be a problem with wordfence. Just renaming the wp-content/plugins/wordfence folder to -wordfence fixed it for me.
