[ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED] Can't access my website nor admin

  • To be honest i’m not quite sure what version of WP i am using.

    Yesterday evening I went to log in to my website only to be stopped by the following message.

    THIS WEB PAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE
    ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
    “The server at mesofitness.com can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.”

    My email address [email protected] consequently has also stopped working.

    Any ideas on how this can be rectified..?

    Have you discussed the issue with your hosting provider?

    Hi Tara,
    Yes the provider ‘PTnet.com’ is under new management and the owner can only be contacted via email. He hasn’t responded to several of mine.
