    Dear forumers,

    I have changed the:
    Wordpress Address (URL)
    and
    Site Address (URL)
    from https:// to https://

    The problem is that I now get an error when I try to load my wordpress or website.
    ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT

  • Do you have a valid SSL certificate installed on your website?

    Since you didn’t post the URL I can’t check, but you can use this tool:

    https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html

    Simply enter in the URL of your website and make sure there is a valid and trusted SSL certificate installed.

    If not, check with your web host to see if they offer them. Nowadays most web hosts have Let’s Encrypt which is free and automatic for domains.

    Thank you for your tip.

    At first I did not have the menu in directadmin to go to SSL certificates.
    I enabled this in on the customer panel of my hosting company.
    Then I made a SSL certificate with Let’s Encrypt.
    Now my website works again! Thank you!
