    Hello!
    as suggested here I opened a new request.
    New versions of my favorite plugin lead to the following error “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”. Only home page works.

    At first i was thinking that it is a conflict between plugin and new template I just bought. But reading the support forum I found that it could an issue in new version of plugin.
    i checked JavaScript errors and checked for Plugin Conflicts. I found that plugin doesn’t work with naltered default WordPress theme like Twenty Seventeen.

    I really love this plugin, so decided to back up to the earlier versions. Did not help. Is there any chance to fix it?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @antsinpants,

    The error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS indicates that you have a redirect loop which means that the page is being redirected to itself. To see if it’s the plugin causing the issue, can you disable our plugin and see if you still get the error? Can you check if the issue persists on Yoast SEO 6.1.1?

    Hi!
    Thanks for the response!

    The blog works only when i deactivate Yoast. As I told, I tried to use older versions of plugin without any success.

    I was thinking that it is a conflict with new theme, but it used to work together until last before last update.
    After I did some random operations like cleaned cache at server, cookies in browser, activated-deactivated all plugins and theme, it started to work until the last update.
    Now nothing helps.
    I also found this guide about such kind of error. But I found that in wp-config evererything is OK
    define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘https://ants-in-pants.com’);
    define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘https://ants-in-pants.com’);
    From another point of view my site always opened as https://ants-in-pants.com/en or https://ants-in-pants.com/ru depending on langunge. May be this could be an issue? Dont know.
    What do you think?

    Best regards,
    Victor

    Please individually check (and toggle to opposite choice) the following:

    Admin > SEO > Titles & Metas* > Archives
    * Author Archives
    * Date Archives

    Admin > SEO > Advanced* > Permalinks
    * Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL.
    * Redirect attachment URLs to parent post URL.
    * Remove the ?replytocom variables.
    * Redirect ugly URLs to clean permalinks.

    * If you do not see Titles & Metas or Advanced, the settings can be enabled by following the steps here.

    You can change each settings back to the original state if they do not resolve the issue.

    If changing these settings does not resolve the issue, there is likely a conflict between our plugin and something on your site. Please check for conflicts.

    If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can?purchase Yoast SEO Premium?and receive our premium email support so we can help you further.

    It used to work until the last updates. So, no hope to fix this problem without Premium?
