    Hi there,

I just installed the plugin on a client site (running free versions of Hummingbird and Smush) and all seemed to be going well, but I’ve noticed that when I run PageSpeed Insights, “next gen images” is still a problem, but it selectively chooses either 1 or 5 images each time, and just by looking at the first big image on the homepage, it’s still reading as png in Chrome…so I’m sure it’s not serving any of them in webp.

I read in an article in your knowledge base that I should whitelist any CDN used (and it’s managed GoDaddy with CDN enabled), but I don’t see a whitelist option anywhere. Am I looking in the wrong places?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

If you serve images from other domains than the one the website is using, you should log in inside dashboard.optimole.com and add the domains you want under Whitelist tab.
This tells Optimole that those images should also get processed.
Also take note that the first few hits until the images are processed we return the original image.

If you cant manage to make it work you can send us a message at https://optimole.com/#contact and we can guide you step by step.

    Thank you!
